Job Description:

  • Provide level 1 support for core business applications covering order processing and fulfillment, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Warehousing & Logistics, and Accounting
  • Provide remote support for information technology issues
  • Identify, research, resolve, and document reported issues
  • Deliver customer service via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Document reported problems accurately in ServiceNow
  • Escalate important or recurring issues to internal teams and the Applications Support Service Desk Manager
  • Monitor tickets and calls to ensure timely assistance
  • Follow up with end users to identify areas for improvement
  • Address day-to-day questions and issues involving core business applications
  • Train users and suggest system enhancements
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate change requests to appropriate IT teams
  • Ensure compliance with corporate or regional policies and procedures related to system support and security
  • Post technical maintenance and software installations and assist with QA and UAT as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field is a plus
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow, IBM iSeries systems (AS400), MS Dynamics or CRM, JDA or Replenishment, OmniTrac or other TMS is a plus
  • Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills anchored in a service management mindset
  • Proven work experience in a service-oriented role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid technical background and ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
  • Willingness to travel 20% for training and collaboration
