Candidate must be located in Maryland/Virginia area**<br><br></li></ul><strong> “A Day in the Life” <br><br></strong>As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting projects from Contract to Completion, including managing resources, schedules, financials, and adherence to quality and safety throughout the project life cycle. This also includes the use of BuilderTrend to track project progress, manage documentation, and facilitate communication across teams and stakeholders. You will manage issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Project Manager runs the project on a day-to-day basis, verifying that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost, while delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.<br><br><strong>“What You’ll Do”<br><br></strong><ul><li>Establish and enforce safety requirements to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.</li><li>Managing and supervising a team of direct reports.</li><li>Lead/Assist with the development of Scopes of Work, Delineation of Responsibilities and Proposals for larger projects.</li><li>Lead the project in scheduling, budget and document management from Contract to Completion.</li><li>Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.</li><li>Track and report on project results and metrics.</li><li>Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.</li><li>Hire, manage and mentor project support positions such as project managers, superintendents and administration as determined by the project requirements.</li><li>Procure adequate subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives in panned timeframes and budgets.</li><li>Understand the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project team meetings.</li><li>Utilizing available project management software (Builder Trend), provide status reporting to regional leadership regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.</li><li>Demonstrate a functional and financial acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices and company risk thresholds.</li><li>Ensure compliance with contract requirements and manage changes as required.</li><li>Manage project issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline budgets.</li><li>Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques.</li><li>Lead safety tailgate meetings at the start of each project phase or shift to communicate site-specific hazards, review safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety. </li><li>Ensure all job site activities comply with OSHA and company safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all.</li><li>Regional travel to job sites will be required ( approximately 50%) </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned <br><br></li></ul><strong> “Must Haves” <br><br></strong><ul><li>5- 8 years construction related experience</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.</li><li>Technically competent with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project Management Software.</li><li>Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff.</li><li>Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with excellent prioritization and time management skills.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of safety field concepts, practices and procedures.</li><li>Well organized with excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Skilled at negotiation with customers and vendors/subcontractors.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple complex projects.</li><li>Experience at directing the work of others to ensure project completion and success.</li><li>Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans.</li><li> Valid Driver’s License <br><br></li></ul><strong> "Nice to Haves" <br><br></strong><ul><li>Modular building industry experience </li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management</li><li>Knowledge in Division of State Architect (DSA)</li><li>Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC)</li><li>OSHA 30 Certified</li><li>Knowledge of approval agencies and process for State Requirements</li><li>Experience with Bluebeam and CAD software for reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and plans<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform sustained physical activity and maintain manual dexterity throughout the workday.</li><li>Stand and walk for prolonged periods and bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and balance as required.</li><li>Climb stairs and ladders, use construction personnel hoists, and navigate uneven or unfinished work areas.</li><li>Handle tools, equipment, and materials and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Possess close, distance, and peripheral vision;
