NetSuite Administrator 100% Remote 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a NetSuite Administrator to provide day-to-day administration and operational support for our financial systems environment.

This role is intended to own routine NetSuite administration, user support, access management, incident/request resolution, and recurring maintenance activities. The Administrator will work from established processes and an existing team playbook, allowing senior members of the Financial Systems team to remain focused on complex initiatives, system optimization, integrations, and strategic work.

This position does not require deep NetSuite development expertise. The successful candidate should be fluent navigating and administering NetSuite, comfortable troubleshooting common user and configuration issues, and capable of recognizing when an issue requires escalation to a senior resource.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Administration & Support

  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for the NetSuite environment.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and routine access requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common NetSuite user issues.
  • Support routine configuration changes using established procedures and team documentation.
  • Create and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, and other standard NetSuite configurations.
  • Assist with CSV imports, data corrections, and other controlled administrative activities.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and administrative tasks.
  • Reproduce reported issues, document findings, and determine whether an issue can be resolved directly or requires escalation.
  • Support testing and validation of minor system changes.
  • Monitor assigned requests through completion and communicate status clearly to stakeholders.

Service Management

  • Manage incidents, service requests, and administrative work through ServiceNow.
  • Maintain accurate ticket notes, categorization, status, and resolution documentation.
  • Prioritize work according to established service levels and business impact.
  • Identify recurring issues and surface patterns to the Financial Systems team.
  • Follow established escalation procedures when an issue exceeds the role's technical or functional scope.

Identity & Access Support

  • Support user provisioning and access-related activities involving Okta and NetSuite.
  • Assist with troubleshooting common authentication and access issues.
  • Follow established access-management and security procedures.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, or senior Financial Systems resources when escalation is necessary.

Documentation & Process

  • Follow and maintain the team's existing NetSuite administration playbook.
  • Update documentation when procedures, configurations, or support requirements change.
  • Capture repeatable solutions so common issues can be resolved consistently.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify or standardize routine administrative work.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Financial Systems and other members of the Financial Systems team.
  • Provide clear handoffs when escalating complex functional, integration, development, or accounting-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business users when appropriate.
  • Provide dependable coverage during periods of team member absence or increased support demand.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting or administering NetSuite.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Users, roles, and permissions
    • Saved searches and reporting
    • Basic configuration and navigation
    • CSV imports and data maintenance
    • Common NetSuite support and troubleshooting activities
  • Experience working within a ticketing or IT service-management platform; ServiceNow experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts; experience with Okta preferred.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures while exercising sound judgment when an issue falls outside established guidance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly document issues, actions taken, outcomes, and required escalations.
  • Comfortable working independently within a distributed or remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification.
  • Experience supporting Finance or Accounting users.
  • Experience working in a SOX-controlled or otherwise governed financial systems environment.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite integrations and APIs sufficient to assist with initial troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting a multi-entity NetSuite environment.
  • Prior experience working as part of an offshore or globally distributed support team.
