Newsletter & AI Operations Assistant — The Good Daily

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

The Good Daily is a daily newsletter sharing inspiring stories, useful discoveries, and reminders of what’s good in the world. I’m looking for a thoughtful, organized person to help run it and make sure every issue is worth opening.

We already use a team of AI agents to help gather content and build the newsletter. Your job would be to guide those agents, coordinate the moving pieces, and bring the human judgment that makes the finished product good.

What you’ll help with

* Manage the agents gathering and organizing each week’s content for our daily issues.

* Choose and refine stories that are accurate, interesting, genuinely inspiring, and right for our readers.

* Review writing for warmth, clarity, and a natural human voice.

* Check sources, links, images, formatting, spacing, and desktop/mobile email previews.

* Gather available ad placements, organize sponsor assets and deadlines, and coordinate campaign details.

* Maintain a simple content and sponsor calendar, track commitments, and collect basic campaign results.

* Document recurring fixes and suggest small improvements to the newsletter and its growth.

You should enjoy working with AI, including the imperfect parts.

Often, you’ll make changes by giving an agent precise written instructions and checking its work. Sometimes that saves a lot of time. Sometimes you’ll need to explain twice that a word belongs on the next line or that a quote needs more space beneath it. Patience, clear communication, and a good eye for the finished result are essential.

You don’t need to be a programmer or already know every AI tool. You do need strong writing and proofreading skills, good editorial taste, reliable follow-through, and an interest in learning agentic AI workflows. Experience with Kit/ConvertKit, newsletters, content operations, or basic HTML is a plus.

The work will be organized around agreed production deadlines, with flexible batching and brief check-ins. Utah County applicants are especially welcome; occasional local meetings would be arranged together. We’ll establish clear approval boundaries for publishing, sponsor commitments, and sensitive claims.

I’d love someone who cares about the newsletter's mission to make the world a more positive and happy place, notices what could be better, and helps it grow without losing its human touch. We have the ability to positively touch over 100,000 people every day, and it is an amazing opportunity.

To apply: message me with a short introduction, your general location and availability, a relevant work sample, and an example of how you’ve used AI and feedback to improve something. Please tell me what appeals to you about this role.
