Are you a commercially driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities and turning insight into sustainable growth?

We are looking for a Virtual Account Specialist to join Essity, playing an important role in developing our business across Medical Distribution and Pharmacy. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial sales professional who wants the autonomy to develop their own portfolio, build strong customer partnerships and make a visible commercial impact.

About the Role

As Virtual Account Specialist, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of customers, using telephone and digital engagement to build relationships, uncover opportunities and accelerate growth.

With a strong focus on strategic account development, you will manage and grow existing customers across e-commerce, veterinary, sports and other specialist channels, identifying opportunities to broaden Essity's presence, increase net revenue and improve profitability.

Alongside your growth portfolio, you will also play an important role in maintaining strong relationships with our key Pharmacy wholesale partners, helping to ensure a high-quality customer experience and continued commercial success.

This is more than an account management role. You will have genuine ownership of your customer portfolio and the opportunity to shape how we develop emerging and specialist areas of our business.

What You Will Do

·    Own and develop a portfolio of customer accounts, creating clear account plans and identifying opportunities for sustainable, profitable growth.

·    Build strong, trusted relationships with customers across multiple market segments, becoming a valued commercial partner.

·    Drive growth across e-commerce, veterinary, sports and other specialist channels, identifying opportunities to expand Essity’s brand presence and customer reach.

·    Manage key relationships within Pharmacy wholesale, maintaining strong customer partnerships and supporting consistent service and supply.

·    Develop a strong understanding of your customers’ businesses, challenges and ambitions, using these insights to create relevant, commercially compelling solutions.

·    Identify opportunities within existing accounts to broaden product penetration, increase customer value and strengthen Essity’s position.

·    Maintain an active and well-managed sales pipeline through CRM, progressing opportunities with pace and clear commercial focus.

·    Use customer and sales data to prioritise activity, identify potential opportunities and make informed account decisions.

·    Work collaboratively across Essity, bringing together the right internal expertise to unlock opportunities and deliver a seamless customer experience.

·    Confidently represent Essity, our brands and our values in every customer interaction.

Who You Are

You are a natural relationship builder with a commercial, entrepreneurial and proactive mindset. You are energised by opportunity, comfortable starting conversations and motivated by seeing customer relationships translate into tangible business results.

You will ideally bring:

·    Experience in sales, account management, business development or inside sales, with evidence of developing customer relationships and delivering commercial results.

·    A strong commercial mindset and the ability to identify opportunities within existing customer accounts.

·    Experience or knowledge of the Pharmacy and/or distribution sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.

·    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly through telephone and digital channels.

·    The confidence to engage customers, understand their needs and turn those conversations into opportunities.

·    Commercial curiosity and an instinct for identifying where additional value and growth can be created.

·    Confidence using CRM systems, sales information and customer data to prioritise activity and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline.

·    Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities and internal stakeholders effectively.

·    Resilience, energy and a results-oriented mindset.

·    A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.

This role offers the opportunity to combine the relationship-building strengths of account management with the commercial drive of business development.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership, develop your portfolio and directly influence growth across a varied range of customers and market segments, while being part of a collaborative team within Essity.

For someone who enjoys identifying possibilities, building relationships and turning opportunities into results, this is a role where you can make a genuine commercial impact.
