Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a <strong> Procurement Intake Project Manager</strong> for a <strong> CONTRACT</strong> assignment with one of our premier <strong> Management Consulting</strong> clients. This will be a remote position supporting EST hours. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Procurement Intake Operations, business process management, and procurement workflow implementations to support our client's Global Procurement Operations team.<br><br>This role will provide operational and project leadership for a recently implemented enterprise Procurement Intake process, with a focus on release management, post-implementation stabilization, operational oversight, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have hands-on procurement intake experience, strong project and process management capabilities, and the ability to independently resolve issues and drive initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead operational and project management activities for an enterprise Procurement Intake process, ensuring requests are appropriately captured, routed, monitored, and transitioned to downstream procurement teams. </li><li>Support upcoming process releases, including release readiness, implementation coordination, hypercare, issue resolution, stakeholder adoption, and stabilization. </li><li>Provide day-to-day oversight of procurement intake workflows, proactively identifying bottlenecks, routing issues, operational exceptions, and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Partner with Category Management, Sourcing, Contracting, Purchasing, and other stakeholders to ensure effective handoffs, clear ownership, and timely resolution of outstanding issues. </li><li>Manage multiple workstreams, risks, dependencies, and action items, providing concise updates on operational performance, release status, and key decisions to senior leadership and Steering Committees. </li><li>Drive process improvements through operational data, stakeholder feedback, and root-cause analysis, translating lessons learned into requirements and priorities for future releases. </li><li>Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and workflow technologies to improve efficiency, operational visibility, and the overall procurement experience. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills: <br><br></strong><ul><li>7+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, Procurement Operations, Business Operations, or a related field. </li><li>Must have direct experience with enterprise Procurement Intake processes and workflows, including request management, routing, exception handling, and handoffs to downstream procurement functions. </li><li>Strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle, including Intake, Category Management, Sourcing, Contracting, and Purchasing. </li><li>Demonstrated experience supporting complex business process or technology implementations through release, hypercare, stabilization, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities, resolve operational issues, and drive cross-functional initiatives. </li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience providing concise, decision-oriented updates to senior leadership and governance forums. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using operational data to identify bottlenecks, determine root causes, and drive process improvements. </li><li>Ability to operate independently in a complex, evolving enterprise environment while collaborating across functions, geographies, and time zones. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with enterprise procurement intake, Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay, or workflow management platforms. </li><li>Experience supporting enterprise procurement transformation or global shared services operations. </li><li>Familiarity with AI, automation, or digital workflow solutions used to improve operational efficiency. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree is required: in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field<br><br></li></ul>By applying for a job with SGA, you agree to allow SGA to process your application for this and future opportunities in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
